An Evening with Film Composer J.A.C. Redford

On November 9, we were honored to host film composer and orchestrator J.A.C. Redford (Bridge of Spies, Saving Mr. Banks, Wall•E, Newsies) for a thoughtful discussion about film music, art, and faith. Mr. Redford shared stories from his career, insights into Hollywood and the filmmaking process, and advice for our aspiring students. The event was followed by a concert showcasing Mr. Redford’s work, performed by students from HBU’s Department of Music.
