Alumna Natalie LaValley ’19 graduated from the Cinema & New Media Arts program at HBU with a BFA in Cinematic Arts and a minor in Writing. Natalie began writing Telos during her senior year in the CNMA program. Shortly after graduating, she raised the funds to produce the film through a crowdfunding campaign and grants from the Houston Arts Alliance and the Skye McCole Bartusiak Foundation. She collaborated with many fellow cinema students and alumni, including Jane Philip (Production Designer), Charissa Fenton (Production Manager and Editor), Estrella Calderon (1st Assistant Director), Max Anton (Art Director), Josh Brown (Gaffer), Nate LaValley (Drone Operator and Sound Technician), Lydia Jameson (Editor), and Elisha Bonnette (Editor). The film is currently in post-production.
